National Agricultural Censuses
A statistical activity that allows knowing the structure of the country’s agricultural sector, in a disaggregated manner at the level of each district that carries out agricultural activities. Its results allow the formulation of development plans and the adoption of policies that contribute to improve the standard of living of the population linked to agricultural activities.
4th National Agricultural Census 2012
En el año 2012, se realizó el IV Censo Nacional Agropecuario (IV CENAGRO) considerado como una Política de Estado, dispuesto por el Decreto de Urgencia N° 055-2011. El levantamiento se realizó entre el 15 de octubre y el 15 de noviembre de 2012, dando como principales resultados, entre otros, la existencia de 2 millones 260 mil 973 unidades agropecuarias que ocupan 38 millones 742 mil 465 hectáreas de superficie total y 7 millones 126 mil hectáreas de superficie agrícola.
3rd National Agricultural Census 1994
En 1994, se ejecutó el III Censo Nacional Agropecuario, del cual se obtuvo información de las variables que permitieron conocer las características de los productores y de las unidades agropecuarias.
