Solicitar visa de tránsito para ingresar al Perú
If you are a foreign national transiting through Peru and require a visa to enter the country, you must apply for a Transit Visa. As of February 1, 2025, this visa will be mandatory for travelers who are not exempt under Supreme Decree No. 004-2025-RE. The Transit Visa allows a temporary stay in Peru while you wait for your connecting flight to your final destination.
Please note that submitting a visa application and the required documentation does not guarantee that the visa will be granted. Each application is evaluated individually by a Peruvian consul, and additional requirements may be requested during the process.
The maximum authorized stay in Peru with a Transit Visa is two (2) calendar days, counted from the date of entry into Peruvian territory. This stay may be extended for up to fifteen (15) additional calendar days, including the day of entry.
