The research has as general objective, to analyze the factors that limit the access to a decent work in Peru from 2019 to 2023 under a micro-economic approach, considering the individual components associated to the work offer, as well as those related to the productive sector and type of work. It has as specific objectives; to identify the dimensions and indicators involve in the construction of a decent work deficit index at micro-economic level, to identify the factors that contribute to the decent work deficit in Peru, to identify the economic activities that registered the lower levels of decent work deficit levels in Peru, and analyze the determinants that explain the differences in the decent work levels by gender and migratory condition in Peru.

The study had been prepared by the Economic and Social Researcher, Eduardo Javier Mantilla Gonzales de la Cotera, Magister in Economic Sciences – Teacher in Research in Administrative Sciences, currently he works as a Director in the Direction of Professionalization of Adult Education – DPA of the ESAN University.
