The National Institute of Statistics and informatics (INEI), since March of the year 2001 monthly performs the Permanent Survey of Employment (EPE). This survey is performed in the districts of Lima and the Constitutional Province of Callao. The purpose is to have base information to estimate indicators in short term of the labor market of the capital of the Republic of Peru, which are monthly disseminated through the Technical Report of Labor Market Situation in Lima Metropolitan area.
