The fight against illicit drug trafficking is extremely complex, as it must be approached from different fronts. On the one hand, it requires a strong effort of human and economic resources on the part of Peru, but also from our main partners in this area, due to the critical role that external drug demand plays as an element that favors high cultivation of coca leaf, which is increasing according to our monitoring.
