La Municipalidad Distrital de Manantay fue sede de una jornada de trabajo tΓ©cnica para fortalecer las estrategias multisectoriales orientadas al desarrollo infantil temprano (DIT) y la reducciΓ³n de la anemia. En la reuniΓ³n participaron representantes del MIDIS, Gobierno Regional de Ucayali, UNICEF, Ministerio de Vivienda y la Red de Salud de Coronel Portillo, con el fin de coordinar acciones y mejorar la gestiΓ³n territorial.
Manantay fue elegido como uno de los tres distritos a nivel nacional para implementar un plan piloto que busca optimizar la atenciΓ³n integral a la primera infancia, mejorando el seguimiento de niΓ±os y niΓ±as en riesgo y asegurando servicios mΓ‘s efectivos en salud, educaciΓ³n y nutriciΓ³n.
