Malecón Paul Harris
El Malecón Paul Harris fue reconocido, desde finales del siglo XIX, como una sección del Malecón de los Ingleses, y en su tiempo albergaba hermosos ranchos que pertenecían a distinguidos residentes de Barranco. En una sesión de concejo celebrada el 9 de noviembre de 1959, bajo la presidencia del alcalde don Manuel Campodónico Quevedo, se dio cuenta de un oficio del Rotary Club de Barranco, en el cual se solicitaba que alguna calle del distrito fuera nombrada en honor a Paul Harris, uno de los fundadores de la organización Rotary International. El Malecón Paul Harris ofrece una vista privilegiada y panorámica tanto del vecino distrito de Miraflores como del Océano Pacífico. Esta área es escenario de diversas actividades cotidianas, como el paso de veleros, yates, botes artesanales de pesca y la práctica del surf. Además, la zona es famosa por sus impresionantes puestas de sol, lo que atrae a numerosos amantes de la fotografía, tanto locales como extranjeros, quienes buscan capturar la belleza natural del lugar.

The Malecón Paul Harris was recognized, since the late nineteenth century, as a section of the Malecón de los Ingleses, and in its time it housed beautiful ranches that belonged to distinguished residents of Barranco.
In a council session held on November 9, 1959, under the presidency of Mayor Manuel Campodónico Quevedo, an official letter from the Rotary Club of Barranco was reported, in which it was requested that a street in the district be named in honor of Paul Harris, one of the founders of the Rotary International organization. The Malecón Paul Harris offers a privileged and panoramic view of both the neighboring district of Miraflores and the Pacific Ocean. This area is the scene of various daily activities, such as the passage of sailboats, yachts, artisanal fishing boats and surfing. In addition, the area is famous for its stunning sunsets, which attracts numerous photography lovers, both local and foreign, who seek to capture the natural beauty of the place.
