El presente documento tiene por objeto caracterizar y segmentar a los centros poblados que forman parte de la brecha de cobertura de servicios de telecomunicaciones en el Perú, con el fin de evaluar y presentar alternativas técnicas para la expansión de la cobertura móvil que sirvan de referencia a los agentes del mercado y se constituyan en insumos para el desarrollo de políticas públicas que permitan avanzar en el cierre de la brecha digital.
The purpose of this document is to characterize and segment the population centers (small towns) that are part of the telecommunications services coverage gap in Peru, in order to evaluate and present technical alternatives for the expansion of mobile 4G coverage that serve as a reference to market agents and become inputs for the development of public policies that allow progress in closing the digital divide.
