INGEMMET begins the evaluation stage of the online mining claim with external users

The Geological, Mining and Metallurgical Institute (INGEMMET) carried out a focus group with representatives of mining companies and mining owners from several regions of the country. This was held as part of the testing process of the Online Mining Claim, formulation stage through the Virtual window. It will be soon available to all users.
The participants made their suggestions and observations on the platform. They interacted with the computer experts who are responsible for its development. In this regard, it will allow the implementation of the measures in order to make the service that will be provided with this technology more efficient.
The online claim is the application that INGEMMET, responsible for the granting role, has implemented. Thus, the formulation of a claim can be made through it.
In order to formulate an online claim, this application will be available to the public, in the Virtual Window of INGEMMET. For its using, it is necessary to be registered and accredited as users in that online application.
In this regard, the user must access the Virtual Window from the institutional website. There, an account must be created by entering the identification data if it is about a natural or legal person, in addition to following the validation steps through the email that you provide for this accreditation.
With the purpose of validating corporate email accounts, it is recommended that INGEMMET’s automated notification addresses have unrestricted permissions in the message tray of users' corporate emails. In the event they do not have these permissions they could be mistaken as spam emails.
In the case of companies, managers must be informed in order to give them the corresponding facilities.
