Embajador Ignacio Higueras visitó la Universidad de Warwick

El 1 y 2 de mayo, el Embajador Ignacio Higueras Hare visitó la Universidad de Warwick, donde se reunió con el profesor Stuart Croft, vicerrector y rector, para una serie de actividades académicas y culturales.
Como parte del programa, el Embajador impartió la conferencia “Condiciones y lecciones de la integración económica latinoamericana: una perspectiva desde el Perú en el mundo actual”, donde compartió valiosas perspectivas sobre los desafíos y las oportunidades de la cooperación regional desde la perspectiva peruana.
La visita también incluyó la exposición “Migrantes”, del reconocido artista peruano Issa Watanabe, una conmovedora narrativa visual sobre la migración y la esperanza, que tuvo un gran impacto en la comunidad universitaria.
Durante su estadía, el Embajador también tuvo la oportunidad de reunirse con la vibrante comunidad de estudiantes peruanos en Warwick, intercambiar ideas y animarlos a seguir fortaleciendo los lazos entre el Perú y el Reino Unido a través de la educación y la participación cultural.

On May 1st and 2nd, Ambassador Ignacio Higueras Hare visited the University of Warwick, where he met with Professor Stuart Croft, Vice-Chancellor and Rector, for a series of academic and cultural activities.
As part of the program, the Ambassador gave a lecture entitled "Conditions and Lessons of Latin American Economic Integration: A Perspective from Peru in Today's World," where he shared valuable insights on the challenges and opportunities for regional cooperation from a Peruvian perspective.
The visit also included the exhibition "Migrants" by renowned Peruvian artist Issa Watanabe, a moving visual narrative about migration and hope, which had a profound impact on the university community.
During his stay, the Ambassador also had the opportunity to meet with the vibrant Peruvian student community at Warwick, exchange ideas, and encourage them to continue strengthening the ties between Peru and the United Kingdom through education and cultural engagement.
