Tasting Event of Peruvian Coffee aboard the B.A.P. Unión

Today, the Embassy of Peru in Ireland, in partnership with Coffee Laboratory, welcomed coffee experts and enthusiasts aboard the B.A.P. Unión for an exclusive Peruvian coffee tasting.

Guests had the opportunity to discover and enjoy the unique flavors and aromas of our coffee—provided by DEVIDA, the National Commission for Development and Life without Drugs and AGROMERCADO—in the incomparable setting of the majestic training ship of the Peruvian Navy.

The event featured an insightful discussion exploring the intricacies of coffee production in Peru, from farming techniques and sustainability efforts to the vibrant communities behind this exceptional coffee.

Participants also had the exclusive opportunity to taste outstanding coffee samples, carefully selected to showcase the amazing flavors of Peruvian coffees. They experienced firsthand how Peru’s varied landscapes and altitudes contribute to the creation of these remarkable taste profiles.

The event took place as part of the B.A.P. Unión’s visit to Dublin and served as a special occasion to showcase Peru’s rich cultural and gastronomic heritage.
