Dublin welcomes the B.A.P. Unión, Training Ship of the Peruvian Navy

The majestic B.A.P. Unión, training ship of the Peruvian Navy and one of the largest tall ship in the world, arrived this morning in Dublin Bay and docked at South Quays at 11:00 a.m.

The vessel was welcomed by representatives of the Embassy of Peru in Ireland, the Department of Foreign Affairs, Dublin Port officials, and members of the Peruvian community.

The B.A.P. Unión is recognized as a true ambassador of Peruvian culture and tradition across the seas. Its visit is a special opportunity for the Irish public and the international community to learn more about Peru’s naval history and rich cultural heritage.

The public is warmly invited to visit this iconic vessel during its stay in Dublin, at the following times:

  • Saturday, September 6 → 2:00 – 5:00 p.m.
  • Sunday, September 7 → 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • Monday, September 8 → 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
