From 6 to 9 September 2025, the Peruvian Navy’s sail training ship B.A.P. Unión will visit Dublin, bringing a vibrant showcase of Peruvian culture, gastronomy, tourism, and the “Peru” brand to Ireland. The ship, which recently unveiled the “Casa Perú” format—a travelling exhibition of Peruvian history, music, dance, flavours, and exportable products—continues its Europe tour, following successful stops in Panama, the United States, the United Kingdom, Denmark, Germany and the Netherlands.

The B.A.P. Unión is one of the largest sailing training ships in the world, measuring 115.7 meters in length with four masts and 34 sails. Designed not only for the instruction of future naval officers of the Peruvan Navy, it also serves as a “floating embassy,” promoting Peru’s culture, history, and international presence wherever it docks. Its imposing size, elegant silhouette, and cultural exhibitions on board make each port call an outstanding attraction for visitors and media alike.

During its stay in Dublin, the B.A.P. Unión offers a unique opportunity for Irish audiences, media, and cultural enthusiasts to engage directly with Peru’s rich heritage and dynamic identity.
