Perú viene apoyando a Santa Lucía para desarrollar su gastronomía local

El reconocimiento que ha logrado el Perú por su exquisita gastronomía y la experiencia alcanzada para impulsarla como fuente económica de ingreso en las familias, ha generado que otros países empiecen a solicitar el apoyo peruano para desarrollar su gastronomía local a través de la Cooperación Técnica Internacional.

Es así, que Santa Lucía, una isla ubicada en la zona del Caribe anglófono solicitó el apoyo del Perú a través de la Agencia Peruana de Cooperación Internacional (APCI)y el Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores del Perú,para iniciar un proyecto de cooperación en materia de gastronomía, como resultado, se formuló el proyecto de Cooperación Bilateral Perú - Santa Lucía, denominado: “Fortalecimiento en Gastronomía de Perú a Santa Lucía-Cosecha del campo a la mesa”.

Las instituciones ejecutoras del proyecto son: el Centro de Formación en Turismo (CENFOTUR) por el Perú y por Santa Lucía el Centro de Formación y Entrenamiento (SYNERGY), además  de contar con el valioso aporte articulador de APCI, la Cancillería de Perú y Santa Lucía; y la Representación Permanente del Perú ante la Organización de Estados Americanos (OEA).

Este proyecto de Cooperación Sur-Sur ha iniciado su primera actividad con éxito esta semana en Castries-Santa Lucia, el intercambio presencial tendrá una duración de 5 días, esta actividad busca capacitar a 20 santalucenses, sobre todo a mujeres emprendedoras en materia de gastronomía de Santa Lucía con el fin de proporcionar oportunidades de autodesarrollo, formación, empleo y emprendimiento.

La primera actividad que se viene desarrollando en Castries-Santa Lucia, del 25 al 29 de marzo de 2019, ha contado con el apoyo financiero de APCI, que ha logrado movilizar a la  Chef , Sra. Sandra Guerra y al Sub-Director de Carreras Profesionales- Dirección de Formación Académica, Sr. Marco Huertas, ambos funcionarios de CENFOTUR.

Cabe resaltar que esta actividad presencial ha sido precedida por intercambios virtuales. Se ha realizado dos videoconferencias entre ambas partes donde se abordaron temas como las similitudes de la Gastronomía en Perú–Santa Lucía, así como temas asociados al Emprendedurismo entre las partes, habiéndose desarrollado en estos encuentros un nutrido intercambio temático.

 

 

The recognition that Peru has achieved for its exquisite gastronomy and the experience gained to promote it as an economic source of income for families, has generated that other countries begin to request Peruvian support to develop their Local Gastronomy through the International Technical Cooperation.

Saint Lucia, one island located in the Anglophone Caribbean area requested the support of Peru through the Peruvian Agency for International Cooperation (APCI) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Peru, to initiate a cooperation project on of gastronomy, as a result, the project of Bilateral Cooperation Peru - Santa Lucia was formulated, called: "Strengthening in Gastronomy from Peru to Santa Lucia-Harvest from field to table".

The institutions involve in the project are: the Center for Training in Tourism (CENFOTUR) from Peru and for Saint Lucia the Training and Training Center (SYNERGY), in addition, the project counts with the articulator contribution of APCI, the Chancellery of Peru and Saint Lucia; and the Permanent Representation of Peru to the Organization of American States (OAS).

This Project of South-South Cooperation has started its first successful activity this week in Castries-Saint Lucia, the face-to-face exchange will be for 5 days, this activity seeks to train 20 citizens from Saint Lucia, especially women entrepreneurs in the field of gastronomy to provide opportunities for self-development, training, employment and entrepreneurship.

The first activity has been developing in Castries-Saint Lucia, from March 25th to 29th, 2019, It has had the financial support of APCI, which has managed the travel expenses of the Chef, Mrs. Sandra Guerra and the Deputy Director of Professionals Career- Direction of Academic Formation, Mr. Marco Huertas, both CENFOTUR officials.

It is important remark, that this face-to-face activity has been preceded by virtual exchanges. Two videoconferences were held between both parties, where topics such as the similarities of the Gastronomy in Peru-Saint Lucia, as well as topics related to Entrepreneurship between the parties were discussed, having developed in these meetings a large thematic exchange.
