The Mining Promotion Directorate (DPM) is a specialized unit within the Directorate-General for Mining Promotion and Sustainability, focused on fostering the responsible and competitive development of the mining sector in Peru. Its work is centered on identifying opportunities, disseminating strategic information, and facilitating dialogue with national and international stakeholders involved in the mining industry.

The DPM regularly produces and publishes bulletins, yearbooks, technical reports, thematic maps, and statistical compendiums that serve as key references for decision-making, investment, and sectoral analysis.
