Elizabeth Galdo Marín
Minister of Foreign Trade and Tourism of Peru
Elizabeth Galdo Marín was appointed as Minister of Foreign Trade and Tourism of Peru on April 2, 2024.
She is a lawyer with a Master's Degree in Law from Harvard Law School and a doctoral candidate.
She has served as Executive Director of Telefonica Foundation from June 2014 to March 2024; as well as President of Peru’s Association of Business Women.
At the Telefonica group, she has also served as Director of Regulation and General Secretary. She worked in Madrid, and has been a consultant at Arthur Andersen in Lima and Caracas.
She participated in academic programs in Sweden, Spain and Italy related to Foreign Trade and Public Management. Lecturer at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, and as national and international speaker.
