The INEI performs of the 2024 Follow-up Survey to the Quality of Public Expenditure

The National Institute of Statistics and Informatics (INEI), governing body of the National Statistical System, in coordination with the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF), performs the “2024 Follow-up Survey to the Quality of Public Expenditure”, which will allow the implementation of the “Monitoring System to the Provision of Government Services”. 
 
The survey is aimed to implement a measuring system to obtain frequent information, reliable and timely about the strategic indicators in the delivery of public services and quality of services to users.  Such a system will allow to improve the experience the public institutions offer the users and therefore to optimize the public expenditure in Peru.
 
The “2024 Follow-up Survey to the Quality of Public Expenditure” will include the following:
 
  • District Survey of Satisfaction of Public Security Service at Municipal level.
  • National Survey on the Satisfaction of Users of Public Entities (Migrations, MTC, RENIEC, SUNARP and SUNAT).
  • National Health Survey: Modules.
-       Equipment and Supplies for Anemia.
-       Dengue.
-       Satisfaction
-       Presence of Personnel
  • Survey about availability of Caregivers, Infrastructure and Satisfaction of Users of Community Mental Health Centers (CSMC).
  • Survey about availability of Caregivers and Infrastructure in Protected Homes (HP).
  • National Survey of directors, teachers and the use of pedagogical tools.
  • Survey of the program home visiting program to mothers under 12 months and expectant mothers.
  • Survey of the Program to the Transference to Early Childhood in Urban Zones - TPI
 
The “2024 Follow-up Survey to the Quality of Public Expenditure” uses the method of direct interview, through the dialogue between the Surveyors and the informants, according to public service to evaluate. The personnel properly trained will visit the households or establishments during data collection period, using a mobile device to data capturing.
 
For the project, more than 600 officials have been trained through residential courses. The mentioned officials will serve in the positions of surveyors, field supervisors, national supervisors, departmental coordinators, monitors, among others. They will be properly identified with vest, photo check and will use as collection instrument the digital questionnaire. 
 
Likewise, the survey will be carried out since March till December of 2024, in the urban and rural area in the 24 Departments of the country and the Constitutional Province of Callao.
