Functions of Chief of the INEI were delegated to Mr. Peter Abad Altamirano

At a ceremony which included the participation of all the collaborators and staff members, the INEI appreciates the work of the ex-chief Mr. Dante Carhuavilca Bonett, who have been designated by public tender on March 4th of 2020, and completed his management yesterday. Fort this reason, through the SR N° 041-2024-PCM, Mr. Peter Abad Altamirano, is appointed as INEI deputy chief, as holder of the National Institute of Statistics and Informatics, while a new chief is designated.

During his words of farewell, the outgoing INEI chief, Mr. Dante Carhuavilca expressed his appreciation to all workers of the institution for the support received during his management. Likewise, he expressed to be proud to have held the post with transparency and honesty.

For its part, Mr. Peter Abad the new chief appreciated the work perform by his predecessor and ensured that will continue with the actions aimed to the institutional development. In addition, he also manifested its emotion and pride for assuming the post, since he is a statistical professional of career and knows well the work and the dynamic of the institution.
