In 101.84% the Supply of meals on request grew
The INEI reported that the supply of meals on request (catering) reported an advance of 101.84% due to the greater requirement of food preparation and distribution services for public events and
private, with new contracts for serving buffets, executive breakfasts, conferences, conventions and corporate refreshments.

Other food service activities showed unfavorable behavior
During the month of the study, other food service activities decreased 3.73% due to the reduction of contracts between food concession companies with public entities, fishing companies, mining companies, universities and hospitals due to the incidence of social conflicts that caused the reduction of personnel in the companies and the permanence of mixed work.

However, the supply of meals for contractors (food services to transport companies) increased due to the flow of trips in air and land transport companies, in line with the travel alternatives due to the Easter holiday, which served to promote domestic tourism in the country.
