INEI: If you had not census registered between August and October, you have until November 30 to do it.

The National Institute of Statistics and Informatics (INEI) reminded that the In Line Census platform- www.censos2025.com.pe will be available just until November 30, date in which it will definitely will be close. This service is targeted to all persons, Peruvians and foreigners, that were not being census register between August and October, when the census officer visited their households.

INEI reiterated the importance of completing the electronic form on time, in order to guarantee the 100% of coverage of the 2025 National Censuses.

From Arequipa, the chief of the INEI, Gaspar Morán Flores, stressed that the In Line Census is an easy, safe and accessible mechanism, that can be completed from a computer, laptop, Tablet and cellphone with Internet connection, since any part.

He also explained that to enter the In Line Census you just need the number of the National Identity Card (DNI) or Foreign Card. With this data, the qualified informant can generate its Unique Code of Housing (CUV), that allow to access the form. In case you do not have the CUV, you can get it by entering the cellphone number or electronic mail.

Morán Flores informed that although the overcame the goal of programmed reaching the 107.1%, manifested his concern for the district of Acarí, in the province of Caravelí. He stated that this is the only district that had not yet been census register, which jeopardize its inclusion in the official results.

Before this situation, he urged the regional and local authorities, as well to all the population to immediately participate in the 2025 National Censuses.

“I made an urgent call to the citizens of Acarí to participate in the census. If you do not do it, it will mean that the information of your population, their needs and living conditions will not be updated, which could affect the planification and execution of projects and essential services for your district”.

Morán Flores stated that the In Line Census is specially targeted to those that cannot be census registered because they were not at home: tenants, roommates, foreign persons or those who do not attended the census officer during the visits.

He also added that to complete the form will take you in average 30 minutes, and it is only necessary that the qualified informant answers for all the members of the housing.

The chief of the INEI remarked that to participate in the 2025 National Censuses is a fundamental civic duty, because the information collected will allow to design public policies that drive the development of the country.

“In an era marked by big changes, such as the pandemic and the migration, to participate in the National Censuses is vital. I thank all of those who already census registered, because with their information the country will have a new image: we will know how many we are, where we are, what we have and what we need”, he stated.

Likewise, he calls on Peruvians and foreigners that live in the country who had not yet census registered to not wait until the last day to be census registered.

“He invoked whom had not yet been census registered to do it as soon as possible through the In Line Census. Their participation is key to reach the 100% of coverage and to have accurate results to contribute the development of the country”, stated.
