Services provided to companies grew 3.98% in September of 2025

During September of 2025, the sector Services Provided to Companies registered an increase of 3.98%, compared to the same month of the last year, explained by the positive performance of its four components. The National Institute of Statistics and Informatics (INEI) also informed that during the period January – September of 2025 the mentioned sector added a growth of 3.64%.

Professional, scientific and technical activities showed a growth of 3.26%, compared to September of the year 2024, based in the activities of architecture, engineering and technical assistance, before the greater demand of feasibility studies, development of mining, energetic, road infrastructure and technical assistance projects. The essays and technical analysis increased due to the requirements of environmental, mineral and textile samples, metallurgical and manufacturing testing.

Management consultancy registered a positive result explained by the digital transformation services, artificial intelligence and cloud-based solutions, strategic and operative consultation in technological, financial and infrastructure companies. Legal activities increased before the need of legal services in corporate matters, in in mergers and acquisitions. At the same time, accounting, auditing and tax advice activities grew due to the greater demand of accounting services, external audits and tax consultancy.

During September of 2025, the activities of administrative and support services grew by 3.94%, compared to the month of September of 2024, driven by the activities of rent and operative leasing, as a result of the progress of construction projects, road works, mining operations and leasing of heavy-duty machine.

The same trend registered the activity of private security due to the greater demand of patrol service, personal safeguarding, security in musical events and concerts and transfer of money. General cleaning of buildings grew before the greater contracting of comprehensive maintenance in airports, offices, residences and hospital environments. Employment agencies registered an increase in response to the recruitment of temporary and technical personnel for commercial campaigns and logistic services.

In addition, the activities of call centers registered a positive performance due to the extension of customer service and telemarketing campaigns.

The activity of advertising and market research grew by 6.23%, in September of this year, compared to the same month of the year 2024. Influenced the expansion of the advertising sector and the dynamism of the investment in digital and multi-channel campaigns. At the same time, it outstood the digital advertise in social media and platforms, brand activations and exhibition in public spaces. Likewise, it increased the use of static and dynamic advertising panels, influencers and digital strategies.

Other sector that registered an increase was the market research and the performance of surveys of public opinion due to new studies about consumer behavior, electronic commerce and validation of campaigns, among them it outstood the quantitative and quality projects with sampling, interviews and data analysis.

During September of this year, the activity of travel agencies and tour operators expanded by 6.31%, compared to the same month of the last year, due to the greater flow of foreign tourists and the increase in the sale of national and international touristic packages. This result was favoured by the expansion of digital and mobile services, that offered a varied offer of packages, flights, hotels and insurances.

On the other hand, tour operators expanded their offer before the greater flow of foreign visitors and the demand of adventure, cultural, ecologic tourism experience-based tourism and trekking.
