INEI presents the “Census in Line” for those who were not census registered between August and October

For the purposes that no person living in the country left remain without being census registered, the National Institute of Statistics and Informatics (INEI) presented the Census in Line, an easy, safety and accessible way targeted to those that were not census registered during the field operation performed between August and October.

The chief of the INEI, Gaspar Morán Flores, explained that this option is mainly targeted to those persons that were not census registered because they were not at home when the census officer visited them, such as inquilinos, roommates, foreigners or those that do not attended the census officer.


He stressed that to participate in the 2025 National Censuses is a civic duty, since the information provided will allow to design public policies for the benefit of the country.


Morán Flores detailed that to perform to Census in Line must have access to the Internet and enter to www.censos2025.com.pe from a computer, laptop, tablet or cellphone. Filling the census form Will take you an average of 30 minutes.


Likewise, he also recalled that to start the Census in Line is necessary to count with the Unique Code of Housing (CUV), which can be easily generated in the same platform entering the National Identity Card (DNI) or foreigner’s card, cellphone number, address and a reference of the housing.


Call center Central available to the general public
The chief of the INEI reminded that in order to solve doubts or to receive orientation about the Census in Line, the population can communicate to the Call Center of the 2025 National Censuses to the toll-free number: 0800 70225 or to the phone number (01) 743 5331, available from Monday to Sunday from 07:30 A.M. to 08:30 P.M.


He also informed that between the months of August and October the call center received 43,658 phone calls, related to queries about the 2025 National Censuses, schedule of census visits, use of the Census in Line and generation of the CUV, among other subjects.


Census in indigenous communities
Finally, Gaspar Morán Flores made a special call to the leaders of the indigenous and peasant communities that still had not been census registered, to participate in the 2025 National Censuses.


Their information – stressed – is important to know the reality of these population groups and to formulate targeted public policies that improve their living conditions.
