“I identify with pride in 2025 National Censuses” participate in the Great Military Parade and Civic-Military Parade

A few days before the start of the 2025 National Censuses, the National Institute of Statistics and Informatics (INEI) participated for the first time in the Great Military Parade and Civic-Military Parade of July 29th, as part of the delegation “I identify with pride in 2025 National Censuses”, conformed by census officers, chiefs of section among other members of the census operative.
The participation of the delegation sought to highlight the importance of the greater statistical operation of the country and to strengthen the sense of cultural identity and belonging across the national territory.
The chief of the INEI, reminded that the 2025 National Censuses: XIII of Population, VIII of Housing and IV of Indigenous Communities are a key source for the formulation of public policy at national, regional and local level.
“Today, for the first time in INEI’s history, we are part of the Civic-Military Parade with a delegation that represents the spirit of the National Censuses. This initiative sought to reevaluate our roots and to promote the pride of being part of this great effort to know better Peru”, expressed.
Likewise, he stated that the census operative will develop from August 4th to October 31st and will have the participation of more than 30 thousand census officers that will travel across all regions of the country. The census period will allow to ensure a comprehensive coverage and adapted to the geographic and cultural characteristics of each area.
Census officials fully identified
Morán Flores called upon the citizenship to collaborate with the census personnel, who will be duly identified and will not enter the houses. The interviews will be performed at the door of the house, condominium or building.
“We invite all Peruvians to receive with confidence and security our census officers. They will wear the official clothing of the INEI and a credential with QR codes that could be scanned to verify their identity in our institutional website”, he declared.
Finally, the chief of the INEI stressed that the success of the 2025 National Censuses will depend of the commitment and participation of all the citizenship. “We all add Peru”, concluded.
