INEI and Editora Peru sign a letter of intention of support to the dissemination of 2025 National Censuses

In order to strengthen the dissemination activities that are made within the framework of the 2025 National Censuses: XIII of Population, VIII of Housing and IV of Indigenous Communities, the National Institute of Statistics and Informatics (INEI) and the Peruvian Company of Editorial Services S.A. - Editora Perú, signed a letter of intention with which also sought to execute joint actions to make known the population in general the implementation of this important statistical activity.
The document was signed by the Chief of the INEI, Dr. Gaspar Morán Flores and the General Manager (e) of Editora Perú, Mag. Félix Paz Quiroz, in a ceremony held in the main auditorium of the headquarter of our institution.
The signing up to the letter will promote the production of events together to the dissemination of the information about the development of each one of the stages of the next 2025 National Censuses.
The chief of the INEI informed that the signing up of the letter will serve as an impulse to the dissemination that is being been taking place within the framework of the National censuses. He also stressed that through the media that are part of Editora Perú we could reach all over the country in order to achieve the commitment and participation of the general population and this way achieve that the 2025 censuses may be the best in the history of our country. He also stated that the censuses are the biggest activity that the National Statistical Offices carry out because they gathered data across the country.
In his reply, Félix Paz outstood that Editora Perú puts itself at the service of the country and to the 2025 National Censuses in order to achieve a massive dissemination that allows to consolidate the success of this activity.
2025 National Censuses will be carried out in three months
The Chief of the INEI stated that the 2025 National Censuses will be carried out between the months of August and October, with the purpose that “Any Peruvian nor resident in our country does not remain being registered”. He also declared that forty thousand census officials will go across the country and Will collect data in electronic devices tablets, which will show the location of the INEI personnel in real time.
He also stressed that as security measure the census officials will not enter the households and will be properly identified with a photo check that includes a QR code with which the identity of the personnel will be verified through our website.
