INEI will update the National Registration of Municipalities 2025 from April 1st to May 9th of May of this year

The National Institute of Statistics and Informatics (INEI) informed that from April 1st to May 9th of the current year, the municipalities of the country could update its information in the National Registration of Municipalities (RENAMU) 2025, through an on-line form.

With the update of this registration you will be able to access to information about citizen security, disaster risk management, public services, protection and environmental conservation, licenses granted for business performance, edification and urban habilitation, education, culture, sport and recreation, health, social organizations, cases attended in the Municipal Defenders of Girl, Boy and Adolescent, promotion of local economic development, neighborhood participation, collection of solid wastes, among the main internal variables of the Mayor management.

The RENAMU will consolidate information of 1 thousand 891 provincial and district municipalities, as well as 3 thousand 8 municipalities of populated centers, according to Director's Resolution N° 068- 2025-INEI, published in the Official Journal El Peruano in March 29th of the current year.

Likewise, information about personnel by category of occupation and labor condition will be able, as well as computing resources, among others; information about equipment and computer resources, among others; which will contributed in the management of the local governments and will make easy to take decisions for central, regional and local government; as well as the researchers, students and general public.

For this purpose, the municipalities will have available forms in the online located in the Web Platform of the INEI

This form is characterized by being easy to fill out and have structured questions by subjects. In addition, it offers the situational condition of the registration of the questions and validation of data provided.

Provincial and District municipalities across the country could access the “Form 01: National Registration of Municipalities 2025”, through the following link: https://renamu.inei.gob.pe/2025/#/login/f01, using the username and password that will be provided by the INEI through statement addressed to the Mayor.
