Sector services provided to companies grew 3.64% in November of 2024

The National Institute of Statistics and Informatics (INEI) informed that in November of 2024, the sector Services Provided to Companies increased by 3.64%, compared to the same month of the year 2023. In cumulative terms, during the period January-November of 2024 this productive sector registered a growth of 3.63%, compared to the same period of the year 2023.


It increased by 2.49% in professional, scientific and technical activities
Professional, scientific and technical activities registered a growth of 2.49%, due to architecture and engineering activities before the development of new projects of engineering, participation in tenders, execution of public and private works, construction of shopping centers, architecture designs, renovation and amplification of offices, clinics and airport.
At the same time, the essays and technical analysis increased due to the growing demand of inspections in industrial processes, chemical analysis of minerals, metals and textiles, metallurgical test, essays and environmental measurements, as well as certification of products and seeds.
Likewise, it outstood the management consultancy activities due to the demand of business consultancies, business consultancies, corporative and business consultancies, financial consultancies to MYPES and PYMES, administrative and management services.
The INEI also informed that the legal activities showed a progress due to the assistance, advisory and representation in law and judicial proceedings, greater paperwork and personalized advice in civil, entrepreneurial, criminal, labor, tax, administrative and corporate issues. In addition, the accounting activities grew due to accounting and financial consultancies, contracted audits and outsourcing accounting services as a result of greater commercial operations and new entrepreneurships.


Travel agencies and tour operators kept a positive behavior
During the month under analysis, the activities developed by travel agencies and tour operators grew by 37.86%, before the dynamism of travel agencies attributed to a variety of offers and on-line sales reinforced by the Cyber days, Cyber Wow and Cyber Latam 2024,through the platforms and applications with flexible prices, different payment methods and in fees, of flights, packages, accommodation, transportation, touristic circuits, insurances and support at national and international level. It contributed the activity of receptive tourism coming from countries such as Chile, United States, Ecuador, Brazil, Bolivia and Colombia, among others.
The work done by tour operators was also driven by internal festivities developed before Christmas, long holidays and the growth of adventure, gastronomic, cultural and ecologic tourism. In addition, there were in sale customized packages, personalized attention to travelers’ groups, students travel, incentive trips and use of digital technology for the management of reservations.
The activities of administrative and support service increased by 2.11%
During November of 2024, the administrative and support services increased 2.11%, due to office administrative activities of and other support activities to companies, outstanding the activities of telephone exchanges, due to telemarketing campaigns due to advance by end of the year festivities, customer service, technical support, collections, consulting on education sales and information service to customers; likewise the administrative services of offices combined grew due to greater demand of logistic services and offices administration and corporative buildings.
The activities related with employment registered the greater provision of human resources and outsourcing. The activities of private security registered a positive result due to the increase of corporative vigilance places, physical security of facilities, safekeeping and security transport service of goods.
The same trend was reflected in the rent and operational leasing of other type of machineries, equipment’s and tangible goods, due to greater execution of construction works, movement of soil, maintenance of rails and work front in province.


Advertising and market research increased by 4.26%
The INEI informed that advertising and market research showed a growth of 4.26%, due to the dynamics of the advertising area before the customized campaigns of station related with Spring-Summer, Christmas celebration and end of the year, through digital advertising in networks and by traditional media such as television, radio and Dynamic panels that complemented the omni-channel (integration of channels).
Likewise, the market research and the performance of public opinion surveys showed a progress by marketing studies (consumer profile, behavior and preferences of customers) and surveys about social, politic and economic subjects.
