In August of 2024, the national economy registered a growth of 3.53%, driven by the favorable performance of the Mining and Hydrocarbons, Commerce, Transportation, Construction, Manufacturing, Accommodation and Restaurants sectors, among the main ones. Likewise, it increased the exports of traditional products, such as fishing, agricultural, mining, oil and natural gas; in addition of the exports of non-traditional products (agriculture, textiles, fishing, chemical, iron and steel products and non-metallic mining).
