This indicator allows the monitoring and quantifies the evolution of the nutritional health in girls and boys under five years old nationwide, this way, it helps to provide a global and comprehensive vision of children’s health state across Peruvian territory. The indicator has been prepared using information collected from the Demographic and Family Health Survey – ENDES. This document includes the syntax of the indicator because it constitutes an important tool to the promotion of transparency of official statistics, which are available to users in general.
