The National Institute of Statistics and Informatics (INEI), makes available of the authorities, public, private institutions and general public the document “Homicides in Peru, counting one by one, 2021”, prepared since the records of digitalized and physical police complaints of the National Police of Peru, as well as the information- collecting process of the records of violent deaths associated to malicious criminal acts in the police stations, prepared by the INEI, oriented to improve the coverage, quality of the data and calculation of the intentional homicide rate.
