In October of 2023, the production activity in the country reduced by 0.82% showing a negative behavior by sixth month in a row. This result was influenced by the Construction, Agricultural, Manufacturing and Telecommunications sectors as a consequence of adverse weather conditions and socio-environmental conflicts that impact in the development of the economic activities of the departments. Also, contributed the decrease of private investment and consumption of the households; nevertheless, the Mining and Hydrocarbons, Commerce, Fishing, Electricity, Gas and Water, Transportation and Other services sectors grew.
