In August of 2023, the national production reduced by 0.63% showing a negative behavior by fourth month in a row. This result was influenced by the Construction, Financial, Manufacturing, Agricultural and Telecommunications sectors that were affected by the adverse weather conditions and socio-environmental conflicts that impact in the development of the productive activities in the different regions. This was mitigated mainly by the growth of the Mining and Hydrocarbons, Commerce and Fishing sectors.
