23 de August de 2023
In the second quarter of the year 2023, Gross Domestic Product (GDP) at constant prices of 2007 contracted by -0.5%, as a result of the reduction of the domestic demand by -3.9%. This was explained by the lower gross fixed investment (-5.6%), mitigated by the total consumption that grew by 0.9%, within a context where the Coastal El Niño Phenomenon affected the agricultural, fishing and manufacturing activities.
