The National Institute of Statistics and Informatics (INEI), governing body of the National Statistic System (SEN), is pleased to present the publication “Departmental Economic and Social Progress, March 2023”, support document, for decision making, within the context of the regionalization framework that the country lives.

This current edition has disaggregated monthly information referred to social and economic activity of different regions of the country. Information of the main economic variables referred to production as of March 2023 is presented: agricultural, fishing, mining and hydrocarbons, manufacturing, electricity and water, construction, transportation and communications, tourism, prices, financial sector, public finance and external sector. Likewise, statistics of: births, deaths, migration, environmental, housing, health, employment and social security, security and public order and social development are showed.
