In the research is being study the recent path of the school dropout and explores the possible economic costs generated due to the closure of schools during the period 2017-2021. In the descriptive section, the inter-annual dropout is analyzed. In the statistical and econometric section, the factors associated with elementary school dropout with a LOGIT model are identified; likewise, simulations are posed of the possible loss of future income due to the closure of schools.
