From January 2022 onwards, consumer price index had been calculated with the new structure of consumption based on the results of National Survey of Family Budgets (ENAPREF 2019 - 2020). These indicators are presented with the new basis of comparison December 2021 = 100. In February 2023, Consumer Price Index at national level varied in 0.43%, accumulated during the first two months an increase of 0.89% while the Consumer Price Index of Lima Metropolitan area, in this month increased in 0.29%, registering in the January – February period an accumulated variation of 0.52%. The annual rate, corresponding to the last twelve months, showed a variation of 8.99%, for the National indicator and of 8.65% for Lima Metropolitan area.
