From January 2022 onwards, consumer price index had been calculated with the new structure of consumption based on the results of National Survey of Family Budgets (ENAPREF 2019 - 2020). These indicators are presented with the new basis of comparison December 2021 = 100,000

 

In January 2023, Consumer Price Index at national level increased in 0.46%, while the Consumer Price Index of Lima Metropolitan area, increased 0.23%. The annual behavior, observed in the period February 2022 – January 2023, showed a variation of 8.87%, for the National indicator and 8.66% for the CPI of Lima Metropolitan area.
