The National Institute of Statistics and Informatics (INEI), within the framework of its policy of exploitation and dissemination of the information that produces, presents the document “Peru: Characterization of Living Conditions of the Population with Disabilities, 2021”, which has a data source the valuable information collected through the execution of permanent surveys that the Institute performs: the National Household Survey (ENAHO), the Demographic and Family Health Survey (ENDES) and the National Survey of Budgetary Programs (ENAPRES).

The objective of the document is to show the main aspects of living conditions of the persons with disabilities, so that the authorities of the different levels of decision know the gaps that must be covered in order to equate living conditions of this population group, with the rest of the country.
