The National Institute of Statistics and Informatics (INEI), makes available to users, the document Peru: “Gender Gap, 2022: Progress towards equality between men and women”; a publication that allows to know the situation of women and men in the different areas of life.

The document presents indicators in historical series in its nine disaggregated chapters at departmental level. In the first one, is detailed the Gender Inequality Index (GII), that revels the gender disparities in health, empowerment and labor market.
