The National Institute of Statistics and Informatics (INEI), governing body of the National Statistical System (SEN), is pleased to introduce its publication “Departmental Economic and Social Progress, September 2022”, support document, for decision-making, within the context of the new regionalization framework in which the country lives.

The current edition contains monthly-disaggregated information regarding to the economic and social activity of the different regions of the country. Information as of September 2022 of the main economic variables are presented referred to: agricultural, fishing, mining and hydrocarbons, manufacturing, electricity and water, construction, transportation and communications, tourism, prices, financing sector, public finances and external sector. Likewise, it shows statistics of births, deaths, migrations, environment, housing, health, employment and social security, security and law enforcement and social development.
