Description
It is a statistical operation, which allows the measurement of violence against women, girls, boys and adolescents within the framework of the 0080 Budget Program:
“Fight Against Family Violence.” This research is executed in strategic alliance with the Ministry of Women and Vulnerable Populations. ENARES has been executed in 2013 and 2015. In the year 2019, the following survey has been conducted to:

- 1,656 girls and boys at 108 selected educational institutions at elementary level.
- 1,600 adolescents at 93 selected educational institutions at high-school level.
- 1,728 Women aged 18 years old and older in select private homes; and
- 1,020 Women and men aged 18 years old and older in selected private homes.
Survey data has a national level of inference.
Objectives
General objectives
Obtain indicators with national inference in women, girls, boys, and adolescents violence. As well as, the social tolerance towards family violence for women, girls, boys and adolescents.
Specific objectives
- Obtain indicators of violence in the family and school environment in girls and boys from 9 to 11 years old.
- Obtain indicators of violence in the family and school environment in adolescents from 12 to 17 years old.
- Obtain indicators of violence in the family environment in women 18 years of age and older.
- Obtain social tolerance indicators from individuals 18 years of age and older regarding family violence toward women, girls, boys, and adolescents.
TYPES OF VIOLENCE
ENARES investigates four types of violence: psychological, physical, economic and sexual. In addition, in the population under study corresponding to girls, boys, adolescents, information is collected about family lack of protection.
