Ambassador of Peru met the President of Thailand-Peru Parliamentary Friendship Group

September 5, 2022, the Ambassador of Peru to Thailand paid a courtesy call on the President of the Thailand-Peru Parliamentary Friendship Group at Parliament House in Bangkok.
On the occasion, Ambassador Cecilia Galarreta and Hon. Gen. Teeradej Meepien acknowledged the close bilateral relation existing between Thailand and Peru and the importance of strengthening political, economic and people-to-people ties between both countries.
The Peru-Thailand Parliamentary Friendship League was established in 1995 and the Thailand-Peru Parliamentary Friendship Group was created in 2007 and many inter-parliamentary activities have been organized since then.
