Peruvian fruits promotion launched at Gourmet Market Bang Khae

On August 22, a Peruvian fruits promotional event was held at Gourmet Market, The Mall Bang Khae, in Bangkok, to present Peruvian avocados and blueberries, two of the superfoods highlights of this season, to the Thai public.
The event was organized by the Embassy of Peru and CityFresh, a prominent fresh fruit importer of Thailand, in collaboration with Gourmet Market, an affiliate of The Mall Group. The launching of the promotion included a performance of ‘Marinera’, a traditional dance of Peru, and a cooking demonstration by chef Parattakorn Techatamunkul, who prepared a spicy fruit salad, a fusion dish made with quality Peruvian avocados and blueberries and typical Thai ingredients.
On this occasion, the Deputy Head of Mission of the Embassy of Peru gave a speech and joined the cooking class along with representatives from Gourmet Market, The Mall Group, CityFresh, and the head of the Commercial Office of Peru in Thailand.
