Peru’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Trade visited AJETHAI plant in Chonburi

Deputy Minister of Foreign Trade of Peru, Ambassador Ana Cecilia Gervasi visited the manufacturing plant of AJETHAI Co., Ltd., linked to Peruvian AJE Group, in Chonburi province on May 23. Deputy Minister Gervasi, along with the Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of the Embassy of Peru, were received by the company’s country managing director, Mr. Fabian Mosquera.

This visit affirmed Peru’s commitment to increasing collaborations between the public and the private sectors in order to create more business opportunities for Peruvian and Thai companies in both countries. 

AJETHAI, established in Thailand in 2006, is one of the top four manufacturers of drinks in the country and have been expanding its production lines to include products containing healthy “Superfoods”, such as coconut and green tea.  In the near future, the company plans to use also inputs derived from blueberry, camu camu, and aguaje, sustainably produced in Peru by native communities, MSMEs, and women, under the AMARUMAYU brand.
