Peruvian Deputy Minister of Foreign Trade visited Thailand Board of Investment

May 23, 2022, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Trade of Peru, Ambassador Ana Cecilia Gervasi, visited the Thailand Board of Investment (BOI), along with the Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of the Embassy of Peru, where they were received by the Director-General, Ms. Sonklin Ploymee.
On this occasion, the Peruvian deputy minister expressed interest in Thailand’s trade and investment policies which are vital to stimulating the economic growth and improving Thailand’s commercial competitiveness globally, and discussed with the BOI director-general the possibility of exchanging experiences between Peru and Thailand in order to strengthen the economic recovery of both countries, further reinforcing bilateral ties between the two.
Deputy Minister Gervasi’s visit to Thailand was made in the framework of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Ministers Responsible for Trade (MRT) meeting, taking place on May 21–22.
