This morning a press conference was held at the Siam Paragon shopping mall in Bangkok to announce that the 55th Thai Red Cross Diplomatic Bazaar will be held from Thursday, March 3 to Sunday, March 6 at the said mall. The conference was attended by representatives from thirteen countries, including Mrs. Ximena Rios, wife of the Ambassador of Peru, who is a member of the diplomatic support committee in her position as outgoing president.

The event, organized by the Thai Red Cross Executive Committee and the Diplomatic Support Committee, aims to raise funds for the humanitarian assistance activities of the Thai Red Cross and is supported by the Royal Family through HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, who will inaugurate the Bazaar.

Fifty-four countries have confirmed their participation in this 55th Diplomatic Bazaar. As in previous years, Peru will have two stands, one for handicrafts and the other for fresh produce (grapes and blueberries), thanks to the collaboration of importers and distributors of Peruvian products in Thailand. After the press conference, and in order to attract the public's interest in the 55th Bazaar next March, a "pre-sale" of the exhibited products was held.
