Peruvian ambassador visited AJETHAI factory in Thailand

On Tuesday, December 7, the Ambassador of Peru to Thailand, Fernando Quirós, visited the manufacturing plant of AJETHAI, part of Peruvian AJE Group, in Chonburi, Thailand. Ambassador Quirós, accompanied by the new head of the Economic and Commercial Office (OCEX) of Peru in Bangkok, Erick Aponte, was warmly welcomed by the Country Managing Director, Fabian Mosquera.

On this occasion, the Peruvian Ambassador introduced the head of OCEX-Bangkok, whose office opened in July 2021 to promote Peruvian exports in Thailand and other ASEAN countries. They also had the opportunity to learn about AJETHAI’s projects to produce new products—beverages with Peruvian Superfoods—and to tour the facilities in the industrial estate.

During the visit, the Ambassador and the Director of AJETHAI, together with their teams, exchanged views on the ever-increasing business opportunities between Thailand and Peru, and the collaboration between private companies like AJETHAI and the Peruvian official representatives in Thailand.
