Peruvian ambassador met with Chairman of Thailand-Latin America Business Council

The Ambassador of Peru to Thailand, Fernando Quirós, paid today a courtesy call to the Chairman of the Thailand-Latin America Business Council (TLABC), Mr. Montri Mahaplerkpong, and to Mr. Bowon Vongsinudom, member of the TLABC Board in charge of liaising with Peruvian companies. Ambassador Quirós introduce Mr. Erick Aponte, head of the Economic and Commercial Office of Peru (OCEX) in Bangkok opened in July 2021 to promote Peruvian exports, investment and tourism in Thailand and other ASEAN countries.
Ambassador Quiros and Chairman Mahaplerkpong together with their delegations exchanged views regarding the current economic and commercial relationship between Thailand and Peru and examined specific activities that will further strengthen the bilateral relation and widen business and investment opportunities for the benefit of both countries and peoples.
The meeting was attended also by Ms. Carmen Azurin, Head of the Economic and Commercial Section of the Peruvian embassy, and Mr. Kasidit Tanaphantaruk, member of the TLABC Board and Officer of Bangkok Bank.
