Workshop and Concert by Peruvian Clarinetist Marco Antonio Mazzini in Bangkok

Peruvian clarinetist Marco Antonio Mazzini, National Conservatory graduate and current professor at the Music School, Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP), visited Bangkok on 2 to 12 October, invited by Mr. Chaiphat Tripipitsiriwat, to conduct “Thailand Clarinet Academy 2017” workshop where he gave clarinet classes to a group of 25 Thai and Chinese students.
The visit ended with a clarinet concert in the Grand Hall of Bansomdejchopraya Rajabhat University, where Mazzini was accompanied by professors and students of the “Thailand Clarinet Academy”. The recital was attended by around 100 people and the repertoire included Peruvian pieces such as Cóndor Pasa, Carnaval Arequipeño, La Concheperla, Estampas de Arequipa, and La Pampa y la Puna, as well as a selection of international musical pieces.
