Ambassador of Peru made protocol visit to Minister of Commerce of Thailand and participated in STYLE 2017 Fair

On October 16, the Ambassador of Peru in Thailand, Mr. Fernando Quirós, was received by the Minister of Commerce of Thailand, Mrs. Apiradi Tantraporn, on which occasion he conveyed the greetings of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Minister of Foreign Trade and Tourism of Peru, as well as the strong desire and political will of our country to continue working jointly with Thailand to strengthen economic and trade relations between the two countries.
In the meeting, the Minister of Commerce was informed about the decision of the Peruvian Government to open a Commercial Office (OCEX) in Thailand, highlighting that this was a clear sign of the importance that Peru attaches to the bilateral economic and trade relationship as well as the relevance that this market has for us in terms of goods, services, capital and also as an issuer of tourists.
The Minister of Commerce took the opportunity to invite Ambassador Quiros to participate in the inauguration of the "STYLE 2017: Asia's Most Stylish Fair, Fashion, Gift & Houseware, Furniture", which annually promotes the products of Thai entrepreneurs in the international market, and encourages Thailand to become a hub for lifestyle solutions, in ASEAN and Asian countries.
