Ambassador of Peru received in audience by Prime Minister of Thailand

On October 18, the Ambassador of Peru in Thailand, Mr. Fernando Quirós,was received in audience by the Prime Minister of Thailand, General Prayut Chan-o-cha, where he was formally introduced as the Ambassador of Peru, in addition to conveying the greetings of the President of the Republic, Pedro Pablo Kuczynski, and addressing the most important issues of the bilateral relationship.

The Prime Minister expressed his congratulations and stated his belief that the Embassy will play a positive role in the relations between both countries, as well as in expanding the bilateral cooperation. Additionally, he applauded the 52-year-long diplomatic relation between the two countries, which he considered the be an excellent basis for strengthening the cooperation, mainly in the agricultural, fisheries, tourism, and infrastructure sectors.

On his part, Ambassador Quirós transmitted Peru's strong desire and political will to continue working together with Thailand to strengthen political, economic, and cultural, and cooperation relations between both countries.
